TICA Show Biz is the premiere application for managing The International
Cat Association (TICA) Allbreed and Household Pet cat shows. Entry Clerks
have the ability to enter exhibitors into a show with ease. Once an exhibitor
has been entered into a show through TICA Show Biz, that exhibitor is stored
in a database, therefore eliminating the need to re-enter that exhibitor.
All the entry clerk needs to do for the next show is search for that exhibitor
to bring up their record and enter them into the show. The entry clerk
also has the ability to edit an exhibitor’s data if anything has changed.
There are many reports, from financial to cat counts, to help track the status of a show.
Entry validation and sending confirmations is a breeze through the application.
There is also a benching worksheet that is created automatically when an exhibitor is
entered into the show. The application also creates and prints labels that can be
affixed to the exhibitor catalog. The labels have all the pertinent information on
them including if any monies are owed. This way the person doing the check-in at the
show can collect all fees owed, eliminating any confusion. There is also the ability
to create a spectators guide to be handed out at the time of admission. Most importantly
TICA Show Biz prints the show catalog and judges’ books once the show is closed to any
new entries. All the reports created can be exported to a spreadsheet,
for your convenience.
All files that are created through the application are in RTF, (rich text format). There
are no special computer skills needed to use this application. All you need is a PC,
MS Word, or Word Pad and a Browser. You also need access to a Dot Matrix printer to
print the judges’ books. Entry Clerk training is recommended,
although it is not needed.
